CHILDREN
"Dad, I am very grateful for your support, encouragement, and mentorship over the years. I am thankful to have a father who has always believed in me. You have worked hard to provide many opportunities for my siblings and me. You have always disciplined us when we misbehaved and you were always very quick to celebrate our achievements. Read | Hide
Most importantly you have taught us that faith in Christ, seeking His purpose for our lives, and doing His will is the only way to find true fulfillment in this world.
I am very thankful that God has allowed me to be your son. The greatest tribute that I can ever give to you is that I am as excellent a father to my children, as you have been to my siblings and me. Thank you Dad, I appreciate you. Happy 60th birthday.
- Gbolahan (JD).
"We may not be that close, and it may seem that I'm unaware of the impact you make in my life and that of others, but deep down I know I'm blessed and most appreciative to God to have you as a Father. God bless you Dad" -
- Tomisona.
"Dad, I am grateful to God for using you as his instrument, and to you for allowing yourself to be a dedicated servant of the Most High for as long as i have known you. God-fearing, leader, mentor, teacher and provider, all qualities one would need in a Father, none of which you lack, plus some GRAY HAIRS. I am blessed to be your son. i wish you a happy and rest-filled 60th year. May God bless you now and forever and us with more years of you."
- Anu.
In Genesis 5:1-32 there appears a record of men who apparently did nothing but live and beget. To the common eye, living and begetting is nothing spectacular. However, the fact that they were included in the divine record in Genesis means that their lives were of significance in God's eyes.
When we consider the record in Genesis 5 in the light of God's command in Genesis 1:27-28 that man should be fruitful and multiply, we will realize that the lives of the men in Genesis 5 were significant because these men lived for the accomplishment of God's purpose by begetting children for the multiplication of God's image so that God's image would fill the earth.
May all your days be significant in the Lord's eyes.
- Joel.
"A good man who shows the FATHER'S HEART in all he does. It's a priviledge knowing you and I'm grateful to GOD for giving me someone I can call DAD. Wishing you many more years in the Lord and may God grant you all the strength required to utilise all your God-given potential before you leave this earth. I love you loads, imperfections and all".

FRIENDS
Happy birthday, Afolabi.
I am thankful to God everyday for your life and for the blessings he has provided to me and my family by allowing our paths to cross.
Afolabi is my friend, my business partner, my brother and most important, my pastor. He is a man of utmost integrity and i trust him and value his opinion and counsel.Read | Hide
Afolabi, as we all know is very intelligent but that does not stop him from working harder than everybody else to get better. He is the perfect role model and a great example of how one person can have an impact.
He is extremely generous but not wasteful.
In the center of everything he does is his faith and belief that everything is possible through Christ.
My family and i extend our well wishes to you and your beautiful wife, Tina, the children who you have raised on solid foundation and 'our' grandson, Caleb.
May God continue to bless you and direct you.
Happy birthday again, buddy!
- Jimi Adetula.
"Congratulations to our very good friend. You are a great achiever and epitome of a gentleman by any standard. Your biggest success to us is the fear of God and consistent path of wisdom in the face of adversaries. The Lord has crowned your effort with great wisdom to manage pastorial duties, business and family apart from the complex world in dealing with human beings.
A big congratulations to you & family, friends and allies on your birthday milestone of life at 60. May the Lord continue to work for you".

Fellows in The Ministry:
DIGITALIZED DADDY @ 60!
While many people around me in recent times found it appropriate and convenient to call you "Baba", I will not. The truth is that, I find it difficult to accept the fact that the young, dark skinned and haired handsome man with trimmed sideburns to match; that I grew to adore is now sporting "Gorimapa". I refuse to accept that, just as I refused to accept old aged-looking "Radionic" in his older years.

Apostle Paul declared that we may have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have we not many fathers. This has been a living reality in my life. Of a truth, many leaders in the past have impacted my life positively and some are still doing so. However, only Elisha can explain why he cried "my father, my father………."
You are different. Something clicked on the inside of me, that day in 1985 at J.K. Randle hall, Onikan Lagos; when I had the opportunity to seat under the ministration (pure, fresh-water teaching anointing) of my father. I sensed inside me that I had just met somebody who was going to "radionic" me in Lagos. Too many things weren't clear then, you were always appearing and disappearing (thanks to your NNPC job); however, I prayed to God from my heart. "LORD, WHAT THIS MAN HAS GOT, I WANT IT". It is evident that God answered that heartfelt genuine prayer.
You are always ready to share lessons from your past mistakes like 'Radionic'. Your prayer for me "that this one will not make my mistakes" is still working for me.
WHO IS PASTOR OLADELE TO ME?
Whenever I need to visualize the meaning of those 3-bunch fruit of the Spirit attributes called goodness, gentleness and longsuffering, I SEE YOU. You didn't struggle to compete with others in teaching us those high sounding FAITH, ESCATOLOGY, SCROLL MYSTERIES and THUNDERS. You stood out, apart and tall in teaching me how to master materialism, achievements in secular endeavors, pride and popularity. That is TEMPERANCE or SELF-CONTROL.
These qualities in you, separated you from others in your peer group who couldn't see then, what good could come out of this little 'konkobility' Bethlehem of a Toks. While others dumped the water and the baby, you saw through that something good could come out of me. I AM GRATEFUL.
I am no longer afraid because you are a torchbearer, lightening through the word and ensamples, my path and making me realize, I have no reason to be afraid. MY FATHER, you have been good to me. You taught me how live Abrahamic in family life.
As we, the Oshokoyas join others to celebrate you at 60, its time to say a big thank you for caring and loving us unconditionally. We sing your song from J K Randle days "Hold to God's unchanging hands, .... Keep your hope on things eternal, hold to God's unchanging hands".
Your children, Tokunbo, Philomena, and the 3Ts.
Olatokunbo Oshokoya
We thank God for your life as you clock 60 years on earth by the grace of God.
Right from the first day we knew you till now, your life has been a great inspiration to us.
Your dedication, consistency, focus, love of God, and His Word, charity towards the saints
and total commitment to duty, whether spiritual or temporal, over the years, has made you
a role model and a mentor to many. To God be all the glory. Amen.
May His grace continue to be sufficient for you and family until that Great Day .when He
tells you well-done thou good and faithful servant and your Crown is presented to you.
2Thess.3:16 & 1Thess.5:23-24. Amen! Many happy returns. Maranatha.
- Pst. Izuduh.
Afo is an example of what God can produce out of a simple life.
The crude truth is that God made him eat the humble pie early in life.
His humble beginning contributed to his ability to listen, be patient and shun pride.
He rejects the company of mediocrity and has a flair for learning from his mistakes. MOST of all, he loves God and God's people and has been of tremendous help to the body of Christ. We were at his 50th, now 60th and believe God for 70th.
Old boy - kudos and God bless.

OUR DIAMOND IN THE SKY
60 years ago a star was born.
In fact, many were born that day
But their days didn't dawn the same way
Yes, Stars cluster, but they shine differently.
You chose the path of obedience to God
And now you are the diamond in the sky.
Like a diamond in the sky, all came to you:
Many were lost, in the desert of life,
To them you became their oasis
To the sailor at sea, you became the beacon
And for the outcasts you became the home
Touching lives, here and there….
Stories are told, fables are rehearsed;
By the night fire we heard of you,
Of the man who loves God
And gave himself for His course
An achiever per excellence
A trail blazer that showed the way.
Edmund Hillary conquered Everest and the world gaped
Neil Armstrong walked the moon and time stopped for him.
Angels are rooting and shouting Hurray! Hurray!! Hurray!!!
For Afolabi Oladele who used grace to shine like a diamond in the sky.
The man who left indelible footprints
In the sands of time, and in our hearts.
-ANDY MORGRIDGE
"All praise be to God for His sure mercies and great grace over our beloved Pastor Afolabi Oladele for turning 60 recently. We are very proud and privileged to have been in association with him way back. It has been a long journey and we are highly impressed with his consistency and forthrightness as a Christian and a Minister of the Word. In a world where virtually everything has collapsed, the Church not insulated, he has stood out as a SHINING LIGHT in a constellation which reeks of corruption and indiscipline.
Do we speak about your warmth and genuine love towards us and the rest of your flock? Or about your extremely robust generosity over and over the years? Or about your personal interventions during our crisis periods? Above all these and many more, we will forever continue to cherish your sound Biblical teachings and expositions. You have massively impacted upon our lives. Your resilience and purposefulness have made you well prepared to absorb so much flak in times past, but your vindication and fruits of your labour will continue to glorify the LORD as you serve on selflessly in His vineyard.
The LORD bless you more and more in every area of your life and ministry, shower His mercies upon your beautiful wife, your children and grand-children. Big CONGRATULATIONS. You really deserve more than our words can express."
- Elder Lekan & Tokunbo Saola.
THE WIND AND THE SHADOW
There is no need to write about your addiction to God and exemplary leadership (the product of which I am); your humility and a heart to help all (privileged and the underprivileged); your passion for the youths and undying loyalty to Christ and His cross; your dedication to your family and God's family; your life of focus and dedication to Godly causes and your work; your extremely disciplined life in speech, time and most especially pecuniary matters; your humbling transparency even in matters of your mistakes and weaknesses; your passion for excellence in whatever you do; your extremely simple and peaceful life; many other virtues too numerous to mention because they are universally attested to.
I therefore will write about, nay, mention two aspects of the personality of this BARNABAS OF OUR TIME that may not be as well-known even by some who are close to you sir:
(1) you let only your God do the fighting for you( I am learning very fast sir).
( 2)The paradox of your personality: how you roar like a lion as you deliver the fiery words of your Master and a heart tender enough to weep without blushing even in the presence of little ones like myself, comparable only to King David's; the fiery warrior and a tender-hearted lover. (As if you knew that I am uncomfortable with men that cannot weep), thanks dad for being real and tender.
Dad, you are a rare blessing to humanity: A BALANCE OF STRENGTH AND SOFTNESS.
Congratulations on your 60th birthday sir, may you live to see the travails of you soul over us and be fully satisfied like your Master, may we, men you have built, endure and become eternal monuments before your maker.
Many happy returns sir!
Your son.
Oladele Oyeleru.
(On behalf of my household and other lives you have touched).

THE MAN ON A MISSION
"And a man shall be a hidding place from the wind, and a cover, from the tempest;as rivers of water in a dry place,as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land"- Isa 32:2 Read || Hide
In six decades of living we saw the reality of this scripture fulfilled in the life of a man very dear to me and many others in my generation.
He is Cool, calm and Collected but speaks with a sense of urgency that reverberates in our hearts even when he is away.
Consistently he has demonstrated a strong will, thus standing where his contemporaries fell.
As a father, he allowed us to climb his back in pursuit of our destinies and gave us the liberty to find our own voice.
In Pastor Afolabi Oladele we saw a father willing to step aside for his children to take the lead- while patiently standing by to give succor and encouragement when youthful exuberance took its toll.
We saw a man who came from zero to greatness, and through a life of sacrifice gave us leadership
We saw a man who has fought a cause larger than himself, bringing light where there were shadows, hope where there was despair, and love where there was hatred.
We saw a Man who refused to take the liberties of his success but saw it as an obligation to be a blessing.
We have seen a man who loved the brethren, honored the brotherhood and has left us a Legacy-Indeed he has been a candle and a mirror to our generation, propping us to aspire to the goal of the overcomer.
He remains our Pastor and father,
-AFOLABI OLADELE
-Noel Abdullahi on behalf of TCBC YOUTHS
As I recall it, I first met Pastor Oladele almost 24 years ago, and there are 2 things I have never forgotten from that experience. The first thing I remember is thinking, "he looks so much like an African-American" not a surprising observation for a teenager you might say. The other thing which has stayed with me for over Two and a half decades is the title of the message he was preaching at JK Randle Hall that day. It was called "The Law of Sowing and Reaping # The Law of Reciprocity" Little did I know at the time that my life would be so drastically impacted by the words and life of Brother Afolabi as we then used to call him.
Over the years as I journeyed from teenage into adulthood and towards mid-life, Pastor has (for reasons which complete elude me), taken a special interest in my life. I remember as a young lady badgering him with endless questions at each opportunity. Not only would he take the time to answer, but would also add additional bits of unsolicited wisdom. Sometimes those nuggets have been so valuable that they have stayed with me and become foundational principles of my life and that of my family.
Over the years Pastor has been a part of some of the most joyous times of my life as well as some of the toughest. Regardless of where he is in the world, all Pastor needs to know is that I am trying to reach him and he is always available.
Pastor, it is not often that we get the chance to say thank you. I am so glad I have this opportunity. I want you to know that your unbelievable humility when you have every reason to be proud constantly challenges me. I have never forgotten those conversations when you taught me that a man's life does not consist in the abundance of things he has; that it is best to live well below your means; that we are mere stewards not lords over the Master's resources; that good parenting and financial independence don't just happen, they require hard work and lots of discipline.
There's so much more I cannot say here, but permit me to say sir, that I love you and appreciate you. I pray God that you will see all your investments in my family bring forth a thousand-fold
God bless you sir.
-Ade-idunnu Uba
Happy birthday to a rare gem in our generation..Pastor Afolabi has been a colossus and a man who has epitomised humility to me as a person. Sir, i'm awed and amazed at so much of Christ you have shown to the people of God and to the world around you. On this day, my prayer for you is for a longer life to be around to see a manifestation of what God is about to do in our generation. E ni sugbu ooo..Amen

Years ago, a little boy was born. Now we celebrate for he's turned 60. We pray that God will enlarge your territory and keep your precious family. You will live to reap the fruits of your labour. Moreover we say a very big happy birthday to Punkie's Daddy, Pastor Afolabi Oyedeji Abdulrazaq Oladele.
- Subomi, for the Akinrowos.
Several GODLY men, with peculiar giftings have certainly toiled the turf of this earth. Some we met, some we only knew/read of their great works, others, we were still in the belly of our mothers' deep when they blazed the path of GOOD SUCCESS, but one thing consistent with these REAL men is the RIGHTEOUS LEGACIES they all left for us.
We are blessed to have heard of you, known of your exploits in Christ Jesus, and privileged to know, meet and be a part of your heritage & legacy. Some call you Engineer, some Mr., some Pastor, others whatever they choose, but we call you GOD'S REFLECTION (God's word personified).
You sure no "Mr. Perfect", but certainly have A PERFECT HEART, such that God easily boasts of.
Your sincere humility is just too contagious, and its multiplier effect is indelible in our hearts.
God does not work by co-incidence, hence we know that He was doing us this extravagant favor by allowing our paths to cross with yours. More He did when He allowed you a reflection of Himself to us, and making us part of your heritage.
You certainly will yet see the travails of your devotion to RIGHTEOUSNESS and will greatly rejoice perpetually. You will finish strong and well in Jesus name, amen
Happy 6 decades. (60 years no be yoke o) Shalom.
-David Nkenchor's Household
Your commitment to our cause over the years has been a strong propeller towards fulfilling our Godly mandate. You never ceased to have faith in us, even when at times we lack the same in ourselves. You never acted as instructor, but a teaching-father, both by your words and lifestyle, most importantly. We make bold to say are such a rare M.O.G. Happy & Blessed Bday Sir, as we look forward to more purpose –filled time with you.
