Welcome to Afolabi Oladele legacy.org, a website set up in honour of the pastor of The Christian Brethren Church, to celebrate his values, aspirations, and what he stands for in commemoration of his 60th birthday.

When a man’s heart is set on the things above, it becomes very difficult to gratify him with the mundane.

To put it in his own words, Pastor Afolabi once said – “If it means selling all that I have to get this gospel out, I am willing to do it”. This is what we have seen as his life purpose and the overwhelming passion underlying whatever success or achievement seen in his life today. In the light of all these, members of his congregation saw no better way to honour their Pastor than to set up this platform where those whose lives have been impacted by Pastor Afolabi Oladele can synergise and collaborate by making funds and resources available to:

• Support outreach missions within Africa and beyond;
• Ensure that the baton of the sound word of God is handed over to the next generation, through various youth programmes and initiatives.

Charity is more than giving money to the poor. It is the giving of our hearts, time, talents, and energies to lighten the lives of others, rich and poor. Helen Keller said – “I find life an exciting business and most exciting when it is lived for others” In creating this platform, we indeed can become partners with our father in charity, thus fulfilling the scripture which says – “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three but the greatest of these is CHARITY.
